Current Position: Forensics Technician

Tell us “your story.” How did you end up at Avalon?

While applying for jobs on LinkedIn, I came across a job posting from Avalon for a Customer Service Representative. I visited Avalon’s website and noticed they also had a Cybersecurity & Forensics department. With a background in cybersecurity, I wanted to do whatever was necessary to get my foot in the door. The rest is history…

What’s your favorite thing about Avalon?

The feeling of togetherness may be my favorite thing about Avalon. Whether it’s company outings, game night, prop fuel, spotlights; this company has a great tight-knit community feel.

What’s your favorite thing about your position at Avalon?

No two days are ever the same, there’s always new problems to solve and endless opportunities to learn.

What is your proudest moment at Avalon?

Winning 2025 Avalon Rookie of The Year.

What does a typical workday look like for you?

A typical day would involve getting in and prepping/prioritizing for the day ahead. Checking on the process of current data transfers/investigations. Typically, we would have a few collections throughout the day, whether it be in-lab or remote. End of day tasks would normally involve making sure all evidence is in the correct place, all administrative tasks are complete, and the lab is clean.

What’s your favorite workplace memory?

Dressing up for Halloween.

What are you listening to right now (music/podcast/audio book)?

Many different genres of music.

What’s a must-read blog or book that you’ve read recently and why?

Three Magic Words by U.S Andersen is a book I have read multiple times. It focuses on harnessing the power of the subconscious mind to achieve life success, peace & abundance.

What’s your favorite motivational quote?

“No one cares, work harder.”

If you could go anywhere on vacation, where would it be and why?

Aruba. Favorite vacation place, many memories there…

If you were stuck on an island and could only bring three things, what would they be?

Playstation Portal, fruit seeds, and my girlfriend.

What do you do for fun?

Hang out with friends, play basketball, and video games.
